That's how many weeks I have left. I can safely deliver some time in the next 4 - 9 weeks. Eek. That - in case you need help counting, is 28 - 63 days. That's not a long time. It's funny though, people keep saying, "You have a long way to go yet..." And somehow I don't feel that I do! I feel even 63 days is NOT LONG! Oh sure, the heat's making me crazy. But only yesterday did I get the baby butt in my ribs and start getting uncomfortable because I couldn't sit right (if I'd been at home, I'd have laid down, but it doesn't fly at someone else's house!).
The pregnancy update is as follows:
As of last week, she hadn't turned around head-first. But my midwife - Shirley - isn't going to worry about it until the next appointment. I know she's still mobile; I feel her spinning around a lot these days.
I'm measuring a week or two small. But that's no big concern.
My friends want to know where the weight has gone. They don't see it. I have my suspicions where 11kgs (25lbs) have gone to. But this is a family show folks.
She isn't much of a kicker, until she's spinning. And then she's a crazy-person! Oceana got to feel her jumping around in there the other day. It's her favorite game now. She'll put her hands on my bare tummy (in public or at home, there's no convincing Oceana to leave my shirt down...) and exclaim, "She moved!" whether she did or not, makes no difference. It's a fun game either way.
I don't think my tummy is nearly as low as my other two were. But that's just me. We should do a comparison.
You tell me.

It doesn't appear that the baby is up in your ribs. But I am not you... that is usually something only a Mother can feel.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are carring from beely button to backbone... you are still the cutest prego woman ever.

I don't know. Either way, you're awfully cute.
ReplyDeleteYOU LOOK GREAT! You were pregnancy so well. Wow. I hope I'm half as pretty as you when I (EVENTUALLY!) have the pitter patter!
ReplyDeleteYou seem smaller with this one than the other two. I agree you are the cutest prego woman. This pregnancy seems to be going fast...I can't believe we're that close...well maybe not for you :) Sooo excited about this little blessing!! Can't wait to meet her.
ReplyDeleteI dont know... you still look pretty low to me. 4-9 weeks! crazy! I found with each pregnancy the time seemed to flow faster.
ReplyDeleteI think you look about the same as you did with Oceana. A little higher than Joshua though.
ReplyDeleteDear Susie, I have awarded your blog with the 'Kreativ Blogger Award'! :-) (see my blog for details)
ReplyDeleteHi Susie! I've been reading on your blog for quite some time now and have never left you a comment!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say you are beautiful pregnant! I wish I carried my babies that way!! From the pics I think you were bigger with Oceana. But it might be the looser fitting shirt you're wearing in the pic? Either way, you look awesome! Keep up the good work!!
PS. 4 - 9 weeks will go by SO fast!!! It's not very long at all:)
So exciting you're getting down to the end now! You're still looking so good! All baby! I'm totally jealous :P haha.
ReplyDeleteI think you are carrying a little higher than you did with Oce, but I think you're about the same position as you were with Joshua, just a little smaller. I am firm believer though that you know your own body better than anyone, so if you feel a little higher, you probably are. All different people will tell you all different things! LOL! Even though I was high and in front with Coby, I stil had some people tell me I was carrying "all over" and even though with Caitlyn I was carrying low, and wider, I still had people tell me how high and in front I was! LOL! Clothes can be deceiving too. One thing is for certain though, you are an absolutely B-E-A-Utiful, gorgeous, preggo lady, and you make me miss my belly, and hope that we conceive soon! Let me know if there's anything you need! I just might have it (or be glad to make it for you!) (Nursing cover, a few cloth diapers, re-useable nursing pads, etc.)
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for quite a long time, but haven't commented until lately.....You look fabulous.....And you're right, it will all go by fast. I miss feeling those spins and kicks!
ReplyDeletelove love that baby belly! You look awesome!

I can't really tell! But you look beautiful!! I'm excited for her arrival! And I love that Oceana wants to feel her move! She is too cute!!
ReplyDeleteSarah
Wow! Where is the time going? I will be praying for you and baby as she finished her growing in your womb, as well as delivery and life with a newborn. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI'm new here! What a great blog :)
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute, girl! I love visiting your blog, and just want you to know there are a couple "bloggy awards" waiting for you at my blog.
