Growing experience

These are the pieces to a sweater I'm making for a friend. This is ((without a doubt)) the hardest knitting project I've ever done. This project pales in comparison. You may not be able to tell from the photo, but each one of those Vs has "holes" (yarn over, knit 2 together, and slip slip knits) that change every row and alternate purl and knit each level to make them stand out. ((Which of course means nothing to you non-knitters)).

I'm really proud of myself! I feel like, after tackling this project, there's nothing I can't take on! ;)

The pieces will hopefully get put together tonight and then I can show you the final product.

I used this pattern. Which I found on Ravelry.com, my favorite knitting database.

  1. Hey Susie

I have been a lurker since Joshua was born. I am also a knitter and was wondering if you had any good patterns for socks.

My mom taught me to knit a couple of years before she died. It has been such a relaxing and God given thing.

Hope you have a great day

  2. I love ravelry! I just finished my first bigger knitting project, but I've been crocheting for years and years (28!)... since I was about 6.
