A Prayer Request

If you've been reading my blog for over a year, you'll remember Joshua's nurse - Heather. I credit Heather with saving Joshua's life when he had a staph infection at 3 weeks old. Had she not encouraged me strongly to put him on antibiotics (against his pediatrician's advice), we never would have enjoyed those next 6 weeks with him. Heather came diligently, without pay, for weeks. She cleaned and wrapped his encephalocele several times a week. She was with us when his encephalocele burst.

On Sunday night Heather's fifteen year old son, Michael, passed away. Please keep Joshua's hero and her family in your prayers while they walk through this dark week.

  10. Oh no! :(

I remember asking you how Heather was doing, as she was working with Joshua when his cele broke. I think of her fondly. In so many ways, she really WAS Joshua's hero.

I said a prayer this morning when I first read this post. Keep us posted, as is appropriate.
