Well, like the space cadet I am, I posted last week - and posted a pretty bad picture anyways. I'll post it too, just for laughs, but this is the serious one. These are home-molded chocolates - the youth group girls at our new church made them for the Ladies Breakfast. How sweet of them. They were very, very yummy too. :)

Yummers! Did you put those on a mirror to photograph? Very cool pictures.
ReplyDeleteLookin' good! Cool reflections. Although I thought lasts week's chocolate was good too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet that you used the chocolates the girls in your youth group made!!
ReplyDeleteYes Jessica - they're taken on a mirror. I really like that some of them weren't perfect - the little edges and the scratch on one... seemed like a :real: picture, instead of perfect... the way I usually want my pictures!
ReplyDeleteAny picture of chocolate is a good picture!....although, eating the chocolate is obviously a bit more fun than the picture-taking!
ReplyDeleteBTW...can you explain what "Wordless Wednesday" is? I googled the term, but that didn't help much.

WW is a blog-fad where you're supposed to be posting pictures without words. Well, mine always require explaining. In this case, American Mum on my sideboard started WWwaT as a sort of competition. Some weeks there's a prize, sometimes not. It's pushing me to be really creative with my shots too.
ReplyDeleteYum! Well, at least I think they would be yummy. They sure look like it! I have never had homemade chocolate before....
ReplyDeleteI love how the use of a mirror - what a great idea!

Hi Susie and family! I found your blog through another blog. I've just started reading your story about Joshua's life. We lost a daughter last March, she had trisomy 13 and lived for four months. I read your words and relate in so many ways. Joshua was so amazing. Someone reminded us that our daughter came to glorify God and isn't it amazing how they do, even in their short time! Towards the end of my pregnancy, God laid Psalm 139:13-16 on my heart and it was such a comfort! We're expecting again and that scripture continues to remind me that God is in control. I wish I had documented more, as you have done. Thank you for sharing. Your love for your family, even in such difficult circumstances is really inspiring!
ReplyDeleteeverytime i see pictures using a mirror i think to myself that I have to try that out. It's seriously so cool! Anyways, if you didn't already figure, i love your pictures, so creative. it makes me want chocolate lol
