And THANK GOODNESS! We finally purchased chairs! We bought a table a while back, but had yet to find INEXPENSIVE chairs. (*Yah, hair's not the only expensive thing here!) So we found a whole set - with a dining table. We like the chairs and we're selling the table. Haha. We like ours - because it's extendable. :) First night sitting at the table since we moved here. It's been 5 weeks of TV dinners. Blah. Hopefully we'll stop getting food ground into the carpet so often.

love the hair. Much, much better ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I know ALL about the no chairs thing. In North Dakota and in Vermont we used plastic lawn chairs at our table. Yes, very chic. Wooden chairs were so stinkin' expensive - and hard to find ones that even sort of matched our table. Our neighbor eventually gave us some - what a nice guy. I think it was out of sympathy. Whatever - I took them GLADLY!!
ReplyDeleteI really like your hair curly - the layers are great! I know when mine grows out between haircuts - it's just a bad, bad thing. Diffusers are awesome, but they make my hair a bit TOO curly, for my liking. I end up looking a bit like a poodle. Usually, I'll diffuse half way and let it air dry the rest.

Your hair looks great!
ReplyDeleteI like it curly too! My daughter uses a diffuser & product... but her hair has a tiny bit of curl and when she finishes, WOW! That's how her 2 guys love it the most. (boyfriend & DAD) I love all the fullness in the back(photo #2)my kids would say that I just like big hair...but I haven't had a perm in 12 years and I have learned to go with 'smaller hair' pretty much natural... except for the Nice&Easy #17.(cover my gray-I am 45) So much of how we feel is whether or not it's a good/bad hair day. YOU should be feelin' fine! toodles, Sheila
ReplyDeleteCute hair! I really like it! You conquered it!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way with your hair sagas. My hair is between straight and curly, so basically frizz, no fun!
But congrats!
LOVE the new 'do! LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteI got my mom-cut a couple of months ago, too, and I just love that whole "new" feeling...weighless and free. How can a haircut do that?!
Keep having fun with it! Try pigtails!
Cheers,

ReplyDeleteI've been a "lurker" for awhile but had to comment about the 3rd photo - I REALLY saw the resemblance of Joshua in that photo.
Praying for your family!!

I love the new hair! Mine is like your's, if you ever figure out how to get rid of the frizzies, let me know!

Hey! I have been a reader of your blog for a couple of months now and love reading and checking it when I get a chance. I have to start off my saying I love your hair! I have curly hair kind of like yours and had a LOT of the same issues that your facing. Everyone in my family has bone stright hair but some how I came out with curly hair. My sister's hair dresser sent me some gel that is now informally known as "hair crack". The stuff works like a charm! Taming the fizz, controling the curly while still making it look shinny. My sister lives in Florida and I live in Ohio and she actually sends me some every few months. I love it! It is called Making Waves by Graham Webb.

If you ever get a chance to use it let me know what you think. A little FYI I have tried the shampoo and conditioner but I don't like it as much as. Not horrible but just not for my hair type. Hope this is helpful!

I love the curls..They look very soft. Really like the haircut!
ReplyDeleteI noticed Joshua looked like you in this last picture of you from the side....I hadn't checked up in a while and as soon as I saw it (nice hair by the way....is the hair thing a postpardum thing?....I did it too) I was amazed at how much he looked like you. You are both beautful.

ReplyDeletei dont know how you did your hair but it looks AWESOME!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteit doesnt look crunchy or wet, nice, soft, loose curls. love it!!
LOVE, love, love your hair! It looks great. I did the hair re-do a couple of weeks ago too. I felt like a 40 year old as well. I have also been to naturallycurly.com. I am constantly battling the frizz. And...I completely understand the triangle. I just got lots of layers to combat the triangle.
ReplyDeleteWas thinking of you last week.... Take care.
