I am sooooooooooooo glad you posted this!!!! I've wondered what your voice sounds like for a long time! It's cool to hear you talk & realize that you sound just like me!! Just a regular ol' American girl. For some reason I was thinking you'd have a New Zealand-y accent or use "funny" words (ya know...'funny' as in, not ones I'd use!) but you didn't. Cool! And tell Oceana happy 1/2 birthday from Texas!
Hi Susie, I loved watching your video! I think you are so sweet!! I feel like I know you anyway so it's nice to actually hear what you sound like! Oceana is adorable. I love that she's sitting there waving at herself & everyone else! Too Cute!! I hope you feel better very soon!! Emily in Mississippi
I've not commented here very often, although I do read often. Just wanted you to know I've NEVER questioned your authenticity. I think that's why I like to read your blog. You're always "keepin' in real". Thanks for that.
I love the 'lazy-day' video. It is so my style. I love your little girl she is a doll and smart... check her out figuring how to get that cute little face on the screen. ToOdLeS.ShEiLA
Thats such a good Idea... You dont sound at all like what I thought you would : ) Hopefully you can get some relief for at least the dryness of your eyes since your out of luck alergy wise. You could try noxema too... I use that on my hands for excema and it works pretty good. Id probably try vaseline first though : )
So will you be stuck with these alergies and no relief for the entire pregnancy or is it a reaction to something that will hopefully go away soon?
TTYL :) Its thanksgiving here this weekend so Im gonna get my eat on.lol.
Aw I am so glad that you posted this and I too thought you would sound different. Oce is so adorable! That is just how my niece reacts when I bring the camera/video out! Too cute!
A couple of things: I LOVE YOUR VOICE! Did not think you would sound like that. I am a little sad you don't have that Kiwi accent, but I'm sure it'll come :) haha...j/k
I do see Joshua in you. You must be so proud to be able to let him live on like that.
Third, I love your voice! I can't get over how much I did not expect you to sound like that! It's soo cute!
You know what?? After reading Jennifer's comment (2 up from this one), I realized she's right!!!!!!!!!!! I do see baby Joshua in your face! He looked a lot like you, didn't he?!
Haha, Oceana cracks me up! she is SO 2 1/2! Love how you totally admit to having a messy house and a kid in yesterday's clothes. Makes me feel better for having the exact same thing. I guess with four kids I am entitled to it though, right! :-D
PS I knew exactly how to pronounce her name cause I used to live in Oceana County, Michigan. :-)
I love this! For some reason I thought you'd have a soft spoken-ness about your voice. But you sound like me! You sound like "eh, I don't give a crap today." lol
And I agree, Joshua looked just like you. Beautiful. :)
Susie - I have to agree with some other commenters. Joshua looks like you, especially around the eyes and cheeks. And, your voice is deeper than I imagined. Thanks for sharing! Kara
Too cool... I have always wondered how you pronounced your daughters name! :) Great to hear it now. Hope you are feeling better soon!

ReplyDeleteThat was fun! Oce is such a little doll!! Try putting some vaseline around your eyes & that will help w/ the soreness. (just very lightly)
