Its the end of the babyhood, the beginning of childhood.
She explores, laughs at herself, asks for tea-cups (hot chocolate), wears undies in public, plays with her baby dolls and changes their nappies, and plays with big kids.
She'll still cuddle though. Thank goodness.
*And in case you want to know, this isn't the post I had in mind, it's not my favourite. Maybe another time...*
She is precious Susie!! My little one just turned two and as fun as it is to see all the new things she is doing and learning, it is kind of sad to let go of the baby stage. I love her skirt too...did you make it?
ReplyDeleteHave a great Wednesday/Thursday!
Susie,
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing your life and that precious little girl of yours. she makes me smile when i am having a bad day. I am sure she does that for you too. Since I had 4 kids (2 boys- 2 girls) I can say that there will be days that what they do will wipe the smile right off your face as well... but when they tell you they love you. It's all better!

ReplyDeleteI love the fact that she's starting to grow up and act like a big kid but her sweatshirt has pooh ears! And her shoes are adorable! Love the detail!
ReplyDeleteShe is ADORABLE!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! I love the toddler ages. They're so amazing and learning so fast to express themselves. Sometimes you wish they wouldn't but then they say, "I love you" and it's all okay again. LOL
ReplyDeleteThose photos are too adorable for words! They really capture the wonder of childhood.
ReplyDeleteI love when they start to really get a feel for the world around them on their own... guided by their own interests ....she is beautiful.

Too cute! Love watching little ones explore. Sometime I sit back and try to figure out what is going through their minds. Take me back to the days when things were simple.
ReplyDeleteSo cute...funny I didn't notice the ears on that sweatshirt before. I love how she's standing in front of the water and reaching for it with her hands.

ReplyDeletetotally off the topic, where did you get Joshua's little hat from? We are looking at "making or buying" something for Noah but do not know where to look.
