Adding punishment to pain...

****Edited to add: American Mum wins though. OVER $11/gallon. Be still my racing heart attack. Geez! No wonder people in Europe take trams and trains!****

Gas spiked from $2.00/ltr. to $2.06/ltr last week.

This week is spiked to $2.12/ltr.

In NZ everybody sticks with the same price - so stopping at Delta Sonic's not an option.

Equivalent? $6.32/gallon

And I quote VeggieTales,

"Keep walking! But you won't know down our walls. Keep walking! But she isn't gonna fall! It's plan to see, your brains are very small - to think walking will be knocking our wall!"

  3. I feel your pain, a little, gas is only up to $4.15/gallon in Rochester, but with a Jeep I put $60 in before the gas light went on the other day (which is a miracle for me, I'm always on fumes before I fill up) and still only ended up with 3/4 of a tank. I figured out it would cost over $80 for a fill up, so I just won't do it cause the thought is too depressing, I'd much rather drive around half full and fill up every 3 days. :-P

  4. And I thought 4.28 USD a gallon was ALOT.... and that is on a military base where it is "supposed" to be cheaper! If only I could walk to the girl scout store 55 miles away....

  5. In Ontario, Canada we're paying about $1.27 a litre...but it's expected to rise. Makes me angry, but there's nothing anyone can do...other than walk.

  9. Wow that's expensive! Whated to let you know what's going on with Marie and Elijah. She went to the Dr. on Tuesday and they told her that she has 3 more weeks, not unless she goes into labor on her own. She has double the amniotic fluid due to the fact that his brain is not telling him to swollow some of it. They would be concerned if he didn't have the condition because it can cause brain damage. She doing good this week, hanging in there. No apt. or computer yet! So please keep praying :) We continue to pray for you and your family and those crazy gas prices there!

  11. Okay, I admit we still are a lot better off than you on the gas prices, but we are gonna die next winter when they say our oil prices will be over $5.00 per gallon to heat our house. Our winters are a wee bit colder than yours.
