Uggggghhhh....

My head is killing me. I don't think I've ever had a migraine, so I'm not sure if this is what I'm experiencing. Everything hurts - my ears, my eyes, my neck, the back of my head, my glands, my throat, and my sinus'. I'm wondering if I've got a sinus infection and a migraine together. I have idea. But this is the 3rd day of it... I could barely sleep last night. Tossing and turning. I tried sleeping with a hot water bottle on my head, which sort of helped (a trick my mom swears by) but only for an hour, and then it's cold. I had the chills last night. I know it wasn't that cold - my teeth were chattering (which made my head hurt horribly) and Matt was wearing a t-shirt. So I think maybe I'm sick on top of all this. Who knows.

Please pray it goes away. I don't want to be on the computer too much. Too much for my eyes to deal with.

  1. Praying for you to feel better really soon Susie. Whatever it is, it sounds miserable and I hope no one else gets it. Take care of yourself and get rest (if that is possible:) I am praying that you are doing okay in all other areas. I sure miss the updates on Joshua and I think of him so often. Much love to you, Matt and Oceana.

  5. Oh dear.
It does sound like a migraine. I suffer from 2 or 3 a week that debilitate me.

Try an Ice Pack. Right on the TOP of your head. Also, make sure the room is dark and quiet. If it start rumbling in your head, you may try a hot shower. I also have been known to put ginger spice on the palm of my hand and lick it up followed by water. It's not the best tasting stuff but it normally does the trick. I will definetly pray for your relief. I do understand the pain and discomfort from a migraine. I even have blinding spells with mine sometimes. Just whatever you do..... Don't drive, go out in the sun or go to a loud concert. LOLOL You will learn from your mistake.. :)

Take care Susie, sending prayers your way

  6. Susie,

It's definitely time to see a Dr. I know that after a friend's death, after I made it through all the stress of dealing with everything that my body just shut down. I ended up getting really sick. Between losing Joshua and the move, you really haven't had time to grieve and recuperate, and my guess is that you aren't going to get better without a trip to the doctor. You've spent so much time taking care of everyone else, time to take care of you!

    Stay strong and courageous!

  10. Not sure about a migraine - but a really bad sinus infection alone can cause really severe pain and fever like you describe. Been there done that last year and never want to experience it again. Don't know your feelings on antibiotics but I went to the dr after nearly 2 weeks of pain and it took 2 courses and a hefty dose of steroids to settle the swelling and inflammation so may be worth thinking about going sooner rather than later? Hope you feel much better very soon.
