Tristan Asher (on my links list) went to be with Jesus today. He was 56 days old. Pray for their family. They know the heartache of waiting, hoping, and losing... better than I do now...
Tristan had Trisomy 18 - a chromosomal abnormality that caused his lungs and heart to give up on him. Many T-18 babies are stillborn, and most of the rest never make it to their first birthday. Tristan was a miracle baby too - he lived 8 weeks. Of all the T-18 babies I've been following, Tristan lived the 2nd longest. The longest was 99 days (Eliot Mooney). Many others only lived hours.
Praise God for 56 days. But the heartache.... will be unbearable at times.

I've been following Tristan's story since well before he was born and was so sad to hear he'd died. What a sweet baby...
