Day 11

No leaks last night! :) Joshua wasn't really into eating at 4am this morning, but I got up anyways. It worked out because my sister Cate was getting up to leave for the airport. Since I'd fallen asleep on the couch last night and not said goodbye, it was nice to say goodbye. Oceana woke up in the night again.....ugh. But she did manage to stay in her bed for the night.
My parents were on the ship this morning and Matt was gone for a few hours. So I was essentially on my own (as my brother was out in the shed pumping iron) with two babies. Wow.... it's interesting! Joshua's no trouble, but Oceana was a bit demanding.

Like I mentioned over the past few days, Brent from Te Puna was coming to take pictures of Joshua and our family. Here's the ones he put on his site this morning. It's great, coz while I can't upload photos, there's even better ones already posted!
Check out his site.
Havalah - there are baby feet pictures. :)

This morning I put on one of my two favorite CDs. I thought it was only Todd Agnew (apparently it wasn't)... so when I went looking for lyrics, I discovered it's actually got a Chris Tomlin song as well. I have really gotten attached to this song, but as I stood rocking Joshua this morning, I began to listen to the words a bit better than I have been. And I started to dance slowly with Joshua in my arms (there's a whole lot of dance in my past...) and singing the words I knew - listening to the rest.
.......and then I cried.......

This song says - very well - a lot of what I've been feeling, and striving to believe.

There is an endless song
Echoes in my soul
I hear the music ring

And though the storms may come
I am holding on
To the rock I cling

How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing

I will lift my eyes
In the darkest night
For I know my Savior lives

And I will walk with You
Knowing You'll see me through
And sing the songs You give

How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough

How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing

I can sing in the troubled times
Sing when I win
I can sing when I lose my step
And fall down again
I can sing 'cause You pick me up
Sing 'cause You're there
I can sing 'cause You hear me, Lord
When I call to You in prayer
I can sing with my last breath
Sing for I know
That I'll sing with the angels
And the saints around the throne

How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing

Thank you everyone for asking about contributing to Joshua's and my medical bills. We have put a side bar (at the top) with our home church's information. We've had our support sent through them for a few years now, and that works best.

*Prayers*

**Joshua's cele to continue not leaking
**Our strength of mind, heart, spirit, soul, and body
**Our visas and Joshua's birth certificates to go through quickly

  4. Saw the state of the nation pics. They are wonderful! I love them. I also love that song! It's so beautiful. I went thru something last year and the song "Praise You in This Storm" by Casting Crowns really carried me through. It's awesome when we feel God lift us out of our circumstance and carry us when we are too weak to go on.

    Love ya lots
    Tons of prayers,

    Debbie

i love you so much! It's been a long night. We had our last night session for Week of Prayer and they were praying for a few different people, when i looked up and realized that Mrs. Scott looking for me. A minute later Bro Dick said we needed to pray for Susie Sams' Baby (he actually said mears - but still). He asked me to come up and the water works started. It was really good though. Mr Dietrich got up to the mic and started praying for you guys. It was really wonderful. i just wanted to share that with you guys.
