To-do list

Ever feel like your life is one huge, unending to-do list? My life feels like this at the moment, to the point of excluding all creating for over 3 weeks now. This irritates me most because I have an eerie suspicion this may be adulthood and parenthood...

  1. Hang in there, girl. I have that same sneaking suspicion. Sigh.

  3. Yahuh, and I don't even have the parenthood aspect of life... I don't want to be a grown up!

  4. ALL THE TIME. I have a feeling it may be one of the joys of adulthood since it seems to be the new trend of my life!

  5. I agree...I think I am some times more re-active...rather than pro-active. so i am constantly doing things that just come up (usually chores) rather than things I actually want to do! I know how you feel ;)

  7. Ooh, ooh, me!! me! (Jumps up and down waving right hand in the air) I feel that way! =)

And I do think it is adulthood, and parenthood. I tell my husband every once in a while, "I'm ready to be done being a grown-up now."

On the flip side, creating is important (it's one of the big ways we're "made in His image"!). So even if the times are few, and far between, and not what you'd hoped, don't just resign yourself to no creating, ever.

  9. But come to think of it, as irritating as it may be this can be pretty exciting as well. Imagine having to raise two beautiful kids aiming to good individuals. This may be a little different from what it used to be but parenting is such very much rewarding, you'll see. Cheer up, you'll get use to it:>
