Because I can

Because I know the gender, but have yet to reveal it, please feel free to leave your guesses in the comments. You've seen in preggie pictures.

I have not done the ring-spin trick
I have done the Chinese Birthday thing, I don't remember what it said - but it was wrong about both my babies.
I have wanted healthy salads and greasy hot chips.
I have craved - MORE.
I have not eaten pickles, because I can't find the right ones.
I do have a love-affair with yellow mustard.
I am 23.
I am carrying low. Very low. Just like my other two.
I am not gaining excessive weight. I think.

Take a stab!

  1. I'm guessing Boy! I had a lot of those same cravings w/ my son. Oh & the ring thing & the needle/thread thing told me wrong on both kids so...

W/ all 5 (yes, Five) of my mom's daughters (yep, one of them's me!) she carried totally different. Some were out front, some all over & some waaaayyyy inside. Go figure.

  2. I'm GUESSING boy. Congrats no matter what.

  3. It's a girl and not because of how you carry or any ring swinging..I can't understand that whether a baby has an innee or an outtie (boy or girl) it will change how your uterus carries a baby..A girl..thats my guess.

  4. My guess, mmmm lets see, it's either a boy or a girl. Yip I can gaurantee that I will be 100% correct!!!

  5. I think it is a boy...but you didn't give clues as to the heart rate..how fast or slow. They say a faster heart beat is a girl and a slower is a boy...or maybe I have that backward! LOL. It's all wive's tales anyway, right?

    Love ya

  11. I'm just gonna take a stab at it, and say it's gonna be a boy but you never know theres a 50 percent chance I could be worng and it's gonna be a girl, either way if history repeats itself it will be a beautiful baby!

  13. I'm just saying boy because I'm pregnant with a boy and developed an affinity for yellow mustard early on -- before that I haven't been able to eat it for years but suddenly I love it.
    Can't wait to hear!

  15. I'm guessing girl because of the 'no extra weight gain'. I've always gained alot with my boys (of course that's all I've had!). You've been craving salty though and I'm thinking that's usually a boy thing. Honestly, I don't have a clue but I'm going with girl. Congrats either way- both are fun (even though I only know what it's like to have 'one' gender...).

  16. I've never really found any truth to any of the theories about how you carry, what you eat, etc to be true. So I'll just take a stab at it. I figure I've got a 50/50 shot at being right, huh?

    So my guess is--- BOY!

It was the first thing I did, even before wishing my mom a happy birthday today...haha. I am thinking girl :).

  22. I had the mustard love affair when I was prego with my daughter. I'll guess that you are having a GIRL. The cravings crack me up, and other prego stories. Soooo hurry up and tell us... kidding. I suppose if we have to wait until the birth to find out, we won't whine too much. :) Sounds like the baby is healthy and that is all that matters. Take care.

  23. I am guessing that God is blessing you with exactly who He knows you need. Healthy, no problems to report is blessing enough for me until you tell us. I am so happy for you and Matt and Oceana and Joshua. Life is a gift from God.

  24. Boy

Thank you, dear Lord, for the news of a healthy baby for Susie & Matt (and Oceana & Joshua!). Please continue to bless them and help them to continue on this journey of being strong and courageous...

I continue to stand in awe of the God we serve - your lives are a HIS story, and you're drawing so many closer to Him.

May His everlasting peace fill you today and always.

  26. I'm not sure how helpful your clues are, since you have carried both a boy and a girl, SO...here's my prediction:

    boy/girl TWINS!

  27. I am guessing another girl!
There are so many other unanswered questions to make an educated guess!
Oh wait... hot chips? is that french fries???
ok, if that is french fries than.. yes... a girl.
    LOL!
How sick were you with Oceana, Joshua and this baby?
Do you crave meat at all? like a sloppy burger?
    are potatoes a must have...?
    what repulses you?
    LOL!
I have had 4 babies... ALL different pregnancies but MANY similarities in my girl pregnancies (3 of them) vs. my son!
So, my final answer is GIRL!

  28. I say girl...just because everyone else in the world has girls...but nope, not me.

Congrats on a healthy baby, regardless of the gender.

  30. I had a girl and I loved v8.. but couldn't touch pickles!!!

But since you love mustard.. I found this one when I was pregnant and WOW I loved IT!!!! It's called Gulden's Spicy Brown.. it isn't spicy and it's not brown. But it is oh so good. Has a slight vinegar touch to it.
