I discovered this on my work computer

He's been on my mind today. His jerky movements and his silly face. And the immense pride I had when I took him anywhere. I wanted to tell people about him, wanted them to see him.

And I still do. I want the world to know Joshua Matthew. I want the world to love him, like I love him.

Thank you for being some of the ones that love him.

  3. Thankyou for letting us love him.

I didn't find your blog until after Joshua went home to be with Jesus, but I still feel honoured to know him.

  13. What an honor it is to have been able to get to know Joshua Matthew. I can't remember how I found your site but I was instantly drawn into his life. What a sweet, gentle boy who I will never forget.

I know it probably sounds so crazy hearing things like that from a complete stranger so let me tell you a bit about myself. Lol. I live in Des Moines, Iowa. I am a SAHM to 2 (girl-7 and boy-5). Have been married for 8 years. I started reading your site right after Joshua was born. Anything else?

  17. Susie~
Thank you for sharing that beautiful picture of little Joshua. There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't think about you, Oce, Mat and especially Joshua. You guys are in my daily prayers and even though I don't "know" you I feel like I do. I read this blog everyday and just LOVE LOVE LOVE the famiy picture at the top of the blog. In fact my kids Kaleb age 5 1/2 and Jasmyn 4 also know who Joshua is. They have seen me on this site so many times and have asked about Joshua. I tell them about him and his Momma's faith in God and love for her child. I tell them he is resting with God now and how he is happy and pain free and whole. Now when they see the pictures of him they say, Look Mommy there is Joshua. He is with God now." So Joshua's legacy lives on in our family and yes we all love him.
    Thanks for sharing.

  18. Those are sweet pictures Susie. Something I am sure that they are something that God left for you to find later, when you needed a little piece of him the most. It would be nice if you got more, but a picture can be worth a ton.
I know that so many people do love your precious little boy, but I have news for you, NO ONE will ever be able to love him like you did. You are his one and only mother, and that is something that no one can ever change or replicate. The only one who may love your sweet Joshua as much as you is Our Father.
I am still praying for you sweetie.
