It's Real Life 2

My boots. They were 30% off. I love them. Flats - my style. Who wears heels and runs after kids?? People who trade their heels in for plaster casts, that's who.My favourite room. To be fair, this is a large closet, but it's MY SEWING ROOM! And it's an absolute distaster. It's the next project. I don't have the bravery to attack it though.
What our kids are doing. Oce was sleeping. And I disturbed her. She did go back to sleep with some work. Lay on the bed, put the camera on the floor and feign snoring heavily so child will assume it is still naptime. It actually worked. It never does.
My laundry. It was ACTUALLY on the line. It's been raining for days.
And a self portrait.

  1. Well aren't you just a little Cutie!

    Don't you love clotheslines?

So glad you got wee one to go back to sleep! I'd feel semi-guilty if not! Do you pronounce Oce as Oshe?

    Thanks so much for playing!

  2. Lovely pics:) Oh! I am finally realizing how you feel with seeing stuff all over....and not really being in the mood to clean it
We have such a SMALL space...ugh! so all the clothes and things are all ove the place!!! (we have one room to ourselves) I look at it...get REALLY annoyed...then walk away...because as soon as it gets cleaned up....UGH!!!! Its a mess again *tears*....hee hee

  3. I found you from the 'It's a real Life' page! I really love your pictures & that NZ toilet is neat!

  4. Hi Susie,
I just love your posts. I came across your blog a few days after Joshua was born & I check in on you just about everyday. I, too, love taking pictures! I have millions of my 2 boys. They are so much fun..Your little girl is gorgious! I love those big, huge eyes with her blond hair & tanned skin. Really, really beautiful!
I just wanted to let you know that you encourage me with your outlook & your happiness, so thanks!
