Day 63 - 9 weeks

Joshua's stable today. Here he is hanging out on the coffee table this morning. I'm not a fan of the onesie over the pants, but the pants had a realllly high rise - the elastic's around his chest basically - so I couldn't handle seeing him look like an old guy with his chest hair in his zipper. Instead I covered it up... haha.

Oceana on the other hand... is at the doctor's office right now. She was doing better (so it seemed) but got sick again this afternoon. That makes nearly 48 hours, and since she's still under 2 (and it's the first time she's ever been sick like this) we decided it was time to see a doctor. She was doing so much better this morning, but I guess there's still some sick-bugs hanging on.

Word of the Wisdom: 2 year olds don't like the combine vomitting, diarrhea, and fevers.

Word of Wisdom: Mommies don't like it either, especially when there's a newborn in the house. Especially a Joshua...

I'm exhausted today. I think it's a combination of 2 nights without much sleep and the emotional toll I'm under with Joshua. Other times we've been able to put aside Joshua's precarious position and enjoy life - but right now it's very hard to ignore. And that's exhausting... more so than no sleep.

  2. Suzie, Joshua is really such a precious baby. I never quite know what to write so I don't write often. I just hope you know how strong you are and how God is using you. You are a wonderful mom to see the heart and soul of your children and I am praying for your energy and strength. I love reading about your family. Weird world isn't it. I adore a little boy, I have never met.

  3. Hi Susie

Praying that you all get the rest that you need and that Oceana is doing much better. There are so many bugs going around right now and I pray that Joshua remains safe from it. Asking God to hold your emotions and give you peace in the midst of this. You are such an amazing and loving mom.

Hugs and Blessings, Laurie in Ca.

  5. Poor Oceana!! I remember over the summer Josh, Samuel and myself got the virus. Just imagine all three of us throwing up with only one bathroom. We had to be pretty creative! It's no fun at all. I hope she feels better :-( It's so sad when the little ones are sick! Give Joshua a kiss for me :-) Love ya!

  6. Sounds like Oce needs the BRAT (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast) diet for a little while. Thow in the jello for fun too.

Joshua looks like he's really starting to fill out too! How awesome! You are all in my prayers!

    Love ya lots,

    Debbie

  7. Praying for your family as always. All of you are in God's palm. Nothing can take you away from there not even when Joshua is moved from His palm to His bosom.
